We are devastated to share the news that an extensive section of Getaway Day Spa was destroyed by fire on Saturday night.
My family staff, clients and I (& Bella 😻) are all safe and well. Our enormous gratitude to the hard working firemen and police who attended the blaze and managed to hopefully save the spa room, couples massage room and float tanks. We will require extensive repairs, the extent of which is not clear yet, pending engineering/structural assessment this week.
Our silver lining ⛅️ is that our beautiful escape room is located completely separate from the main day spa, remains untouched and we will recommence treatments from the escape room potentially as soon as Friday or Saturday 🙌🏼 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Clients can rest assured that Getaway will live on! And soon! All gift vouchers will be honoured, and if any rescheduling is to occur we will be contacting you in the coming week or so.
